Meet Our Supporters

The supporters of The Silver Threads Hall have been the local people of Donnington and Donnington Wood. Also The Silver Threads Hall also has been give a number of grants from Fairshare £50,000.00, this has help fund much needed maintain at the hall, with a new roof, new windows, new heating system, and also the insulating the building. This has taken place during the summer of 2012. We also were sucessful in applying for a grant from Fairshare in 2013, for a new ramp this has help us become completely disabled friendly.

 We have also been given a grant from the CO-op, of £10,000.00. This has help the hall in having a new disabled w.c., a new block of ladies loo's.It has also help to fund a new update of the kitchen. In early part of 2013 we had a grant from Fairshare this has help us in getting a new ramp at The Silver Threads Hall. It would not be possiable for The Silver Threads Hall to be hear today, if it was not for the great work put in by the hall committiee, the CVS, the local funders, and the local community.
